Default Did my 3 hour today--updated in post 6 and 7

So I did my 3 hour this morning. That sucked. I more than likely failed it. My fasting number was ok but my one hour draw was over 220 or so which I dont understand since yesterday it was only 145 which is failing by like 5-10. I didnt ask about the second one again since when I originally asked it was still pending. So Im calling monday morning to see what the full results were and what they want to do now. If I have gestational I will have to go in and get the meter and everything again and do all that plus eventually set up appointments with a nutritionist at the hospital and everything. Or maybe they wont just yet will have me monitor things for awhile since I had gd with Taylor I know what Im doing. lol one can only hope.

I just have to see my endocrinologist and wasn't sent to a nutritionalist - I only went twice with DD cuz it was far more overwhelming-- this time it's way easier, but my fasting sugars aren't cooperating-- lol. Good luck!!

Dont have answers yet because I called at 9:30 and my dr hadnt had a chance to look at it yet. BUT my numbers were 240 at 1 hour, 150 at 2 hours and 119 at 3 hours. It was 124 for my fasting so idk.

So finally got my full results tonight after work. I have gd. I have to test twice a day and go back in 2 weeks instead of 4 so he can talk to me and we can see how my numbers are and everything. I got my meter and everything after going out to eat with my parents to a fund raiser for alzheimers (my grandparents had it and died from it) and tested about 2 hours after we had eaten and my number was 88 which is kind of low. So I read through everything and set it up how its supposed to be and my number was 84. So who knows. Will see in the morning what it is. They told me he reccomends testing 5 times a day (um no) BUT that I can get away with doing twice a day. I get to call in the am to set up the appointment and go fromm there. I asked if I would have to see a diatician or whoever and never got a response lol its their textline thing where you can text them and they can text you its kind of neat.

    I'm sorry. That stinks.

Do you usually just have to monitor your diet or have they ever actually put you on meds? Either way its no fun, that's for sure!

Just monitor it and do the diet. Which is fine. So far my numbers have been in the 80's other then this morning which was 130. So idk. I do like the text line I asked a question on if I have to see a dietician and then this morning way before they open I got a response saying no but they could bring me in to talk to me if needed. Which I think is awesome since it would be a pain.
