I am excited for whenever she decides to come then the contractions will freaking stop. Last night I ended up in the shower for 40+ minutes with it beating on my back. It felt like it did when I was in labor with Taylor. Thankfully I was able to sleep part of the night and the contractions stopped for now again. She is lower because my pain is back there and its more difficult for me to walk. Ug I just want to make it to friday then Im only 3 weeks early and less of a chance of a NICU stay. Im almost caught up at work so can be on leave for a bit and know that things will mostly be ok. I hope. lol

I think Maddie or Kati will be first!

So, if you didn't see it in my appt thread....Aarilyn now weighs 6 lbs!! And I'm kinda nervous just because my MFM is going on maternity leave herself in four weeks...so the last week and a 1/2 to two weeks of pg will be with some random MFM that comes to take her place. :S That combined with my new micromanaging o.b. really makes me kinda nervous about how all of this is going to go down!

But hopefully, Lord willing, I only have about 4 weeks left! I'm already tired and worn out and this kid is nowhere near as big as she's gonna get, I'm sure. She's in the greater than 90-95th percentile in everything! Can't wait to hold my girl!

So my dog was acting really weird last night.... she was pacing back and forth around the apartment, and every time I got up to go to the bathroom she would follow me like she was scared to let me out of her sight. She was also more snuggly and clingy last night than she has been in a very long time. The only time she seemed calm was when I was holding her.

I had a few contractions last night that were sore enough to wake me up. And I also had very weird sensations: like heart palpitations as well as a spinning feeling. So I relocated to the sofa and slept the rest of the night half sitting up which seemed to resolve that sensation.

Do you believe that animals can sense things before they happen?

Yes, Roxi, I absolutely believe that! How far along are you now? You're due the same day as Maddie, right?

According to the doc I'm due 12/23 but by my LMP 12/19 (same as Maddie).

But a little while ago, at 29 weeks, doc said her head & chest measurements were the size of a 33 week GA baby. Doc at 20 week scan also commented that she was bigger than her GA. So if she's been growing at the same rate then she's now around the size of a 36 or 37 week baby (I certainly feel like she's that size). And at my last appointment last week doc said my cervix has shortened although is still closed.

But having had contractions for so long now it's very hard to get excited at anything.

Roxi I totally think animals can sense things. So maybe your close. Specially since they say she is measuring bigger.

I think it will be Maddie, Me or Marie but cant say why just yet on why I say Marie.
