I am going to have DH go with me to do birthing classes. Granted we just went through labor in Jan but it wasn't the same as a full-term labor. I think he needs to be a little better prepared to help me... Instead of just trying to get me to take pain meds (which I won't). I am also going put DS in sibling class.
thinking of doing a siblings class, but i don't think my DD will be old enough to get it....so, we'll probably just work on it at home.

My DECEMBER 2013 SNOWBUNNY is a GIRL!
We still have to learn more about it all, but I think it would be good for DH to help him feel prepared. I'm planning to have an epidural so I don't know if it's worth it for me, but DH needs to learn more about it in a formal setting and I think it will do him good to meet some other SO's since none of our friends here are expecting yet.
I'm also thinking of sending him on Daddy Bootcamp to learn diaper changing and swaddling and stuff.
I didn't take one with my first so likely won't again. DH was deployed when I had DS so we will likely do the hospital tour again with DH. I think my hospital did a good job in explaining more than just here's the rooms.
Roxi- Ooo I forgot about the Daddy thing. I think the class I was looking at has them do it on one of the days.
I have to be careful though because I don't know if DH is going to be sent away for work (After 6 mo- 1 yr of training, he may need to go over seas to work on the product elsewhere... 6 months would make Sept.....). A new position might open up though and DH said he would apply for it.... I hope he gets it if all works out. It would be higher pay, higher position, and no-travel.
The hospitals do a great job.... They definitely helped me through the labor process but DH was just... not really on the same page. And this is his first baby... he wants to wing everything but this is one of those things I'd rather not wing
