What was/will be the first thing you buy for this baby? When?

Already bought the cutest, softest winter suit with Teddy Bear ears and little paw prints embroidered on the feet. It doesn't have any zippers or snaps, it has magnetic Was on special at the NY Baby Show.

looks like this but it's a full body suit

Now I feel bad. I haven't bought anything yet. I think I am waiting for gender confirmation. If its a boy I won't need to buy much of anything.

I've started buying girl stuff, even not knowing the gender yet. We've got boy stuff totally covered, and if I don't have a girl, I'll simply give it all to my bestie who is having a girl. Smile

But all the equipment I'm buying is gender neutral...I learned my lesson last time when I finally gave it all away, then became pg...I'm not giving it away after this baby and the chances of me having another girl after this one (supposing it is a girl of course) are pretty slim. Smile

I'm figuring I'll come out a lot better if I buy it a little at a time, which is why I've already started. Smile

I am so hesitant to buy anything because I lost Kamdyn at 20 weeks. It was really hard to have anything baby in the house. I am just worried. Maybe I should be a negative nancy but I am just worried... especially for my emotions. I am completely off medication so if I loose the baby it's going to be a lot harder for me.

My MIL is going to give me a baby shower so I'm hoping that will help me get stuff I need. DH and I don't really have any extra money to spend right now... I hopefully will be able to get some stuff next month. I wanna get through some main appointments and I'll see how I'm feeling.

I'm waiting to buy until we know what it is. DS was born in December so if its a boy we have tons of boy stuff. I intend to go through it all and get the stuff I like and keep some unisex stuff. But I'm sure my mom will go insane with buying frenzy if its a girl .

I would totally do that except I don't have anywhere to store them!

We don't either... Well I guess we have the room for the baby.... I need to figure out what sizes to buy (how many of each y'know). I also thought about doing cloth diapering this time.... but it grosses DH out... and me too. I mean.. The washing them part is kinda icky.. IDK.

Ive got to go through the diapers I have so I can figure out how many more to buy till I have the baby. I dont buy them everytime I get diapers or pullups for my youngest but about once every other month or so. My kids are normally smaller and cn fit in nb/preemie for a bit. Even my youngest daughter who was almost 9 lbs could even fit in the preemie diapers for over a week. I bought a couple newborn and then a few size 1. Im good for awhile. Hopefully. I have a corner in my closet that Im storing the diapers and everything else I have bought. I got the cutest car seat yesterday and 5 outfits.

I usually will pick up diapers if I have a coupon or they are on sale. I have gotten size 1,2 and 3's my DD never wore newborns, so I'm a little hesitant to get those
