    Default Question 3

Have you decided if you will cloth diaper or use disposable diapers on the baby?

I need to look into the costs of each plus it depends on whether we have a washer and dryer on the premises after we move in March. And also depends on what DH prefers.

Disposable. I've already bought some! DH isn't on board in the least with cloth...we talked about it 6 years ago with our DD, then again 3 years ago with DS and he has no interest or desire to. I'm not complaining either because he's a great dad who does lots and lots of changes, so he has a HUGE say in our choice.

Cloth! The budget won't stretch to fit both sposies and formula, so cloth it is, no matter what!

Disposables this time. I did cloth with my son and loved it. But, again, my decisions are going to be based on being a single working mom instead of a full time home mom. This time, I won't have the time or ability to treat and launder cloth diapers, even though I love them.

Jana - Do you already have your cloth? What will you be using? You'll have to post fluff pictures, I think they are SO cute!

I have 12 brand new, already prepped (though I will wash them again, no question!) OS (One-size) pockets that I got from an acquaintance for $4 ea. The lady was given 24 pockets in all colors, then had a boy and didn't use the "girly colors" so I WIN!! I bought all her "girly" dipes. haha I'm actually not a fan of pockets. We tried CD w/ DS but didn't make it bc he was allergic to something and broke out horribly. We never could figure out what, and truthfully I just didn't do as much research as I've done this time. This time I'm going to go with a few AIO (all-in-one) dipes (especially for those middle of the night changes), some prefolds and both sized and OS covers, and of course the pockets I already have. I'm not sold on wool or fleece covers. I haven't decided on exact brands I'm getting yet, other than the ones I've got. And I forget what brand they are atm. (And I'm too lazy to go figure it out...haha)

Don't have all the stash yet bc budget is killing me right now. I'll at least have the NB size stuff by the time baby gets here and hopefully part of the next size up. And sure, I'll take pics when I have 'em!

Disposables here! I like the idea of cloth, but I work a TON and it just isn't practical for us. DH would vomit for sure with cloth He is a great helper and don't want to deter that! I also have a small problem with washing nasty diapes in the same machine that I wash my clothes in....weird I know! They are sooooo cute though!
