I think iui may be out thismonth unless the double clomid. Really speeds things up and everything is looking good by cd11 and my bloods are decent on cd 12 for a cd 13 iui. It's a long shot but fingers crossed. Fingers crossed hubbys roster works out that week as well and we can do a fresh cycle rather than frozen.

Yay, new year new baby hopefully.

Double clomid they say, ok I think I had no issues on the lower dose. Oh my God, I have been so dizzy, I actually feel drunk I am so dizzy. It's going to be a long week. I did tell hubby I should jjst get drunk because at least then I might feel better about felling like poo all day.

so I'm going to hang out a bit just because I'm crazy! LOL And there aren't any boards up for 2015 yet! Smile I've also got good news. DH is back on board for being proactive about getting preggo so he's told me to let him know when it's time and we'll DTD like bunnies! lol I think this break of a couple months has been good for us so far, especially DH.

Off for my first scan tomorrow and hopefully the 100mg of clomid has done the trick with lots of well developed follies.

Iui is out, even on thehigher dose of clomid they didn't follies they liked the look of. Not sure where to from here, they have said we can try a different drug or injections or go to ivf or else I am do e. Ivf is a bit expensive and not sure we can go that path right now.

Looks like the clomid may be making me ovulate a little late, I am only just getting a darker looking line on my opks which is good because Friday they werebarely there. We were out of town yesterday so no test, but the next couple of nights are going to be insanely busy and needing to get some baby making in. I'm really hoping it works this month, one of my closest friends is pregnant and it would be awesome to be pregnant tigether and have babies closeish together

Hi Ladies. Guess I'll join you in the waiting to O... AF started today.
I was SURE last cycle was it for me! It was our 6th IUI (2 with clomid, 4 with injectables) I've had HSG (no blockage) laprascopic sugery (no endo, no infection of the lining) I have good follicles, and great ovulation. Even use progesterone afterwards to support LP. Can't seem to find the problem. I think it's all about the timing of the IUI. I trigger, and IUI is done 36 hours later. My DH has azoospermia, so we use donor sperm. We don't have the ability to BD the day before, or after IUI. We literally have ONE chance. DH and I decided that if we didn't get pregnant this last cycle, we'd move onto IVF. I'm very lucky that my insurance covers infertility up to $15,000 (and I've only used like $5000) - well when I talked to my RE's office today, they can't get me into the next IVF cycle, which means we couldn't do it until July!!!!! So looks like we'll prob do another IUI cycle (or 2!) b/c why not? We don't want to just wait around until July...

anyway....CD 1 for me. Prob won't ovulate for another 2 weeks....i hate this process.

Big hugs Toni. Just curious because of your husband condition and the inability to be able to add in extra bding is there any reason they didn't go to ivf earlier? Just from reading that it seems like it would have been the better bet all along

Well we decided on IUI since it was less expensive, and less invasive. Originally we didn't think anything was "wrong" with me. I thought it might only take like 3 months - 8 cycles later (6 IUIs, 1 cancelled cycle, 1 rest cycle) and still nothing. I could technically do like another 12 IUIs and they'd be covered thru my insurance...but I just don't think emotionally I can do it any longer. We started our TTC journey almost 3 years ago!!! Today I feel so defeated. I'm really starting to lose hope. Growing up, I couldn't wait to have a baby - my biggest fear was that I'd never have kids. and I'm starting to feel like that's coming true. Sad

sorry to be such a debbie downer.

Your not adowner, it is a oerfectly normal response to have in your situation. Also there may also be nothing wrong on your side but like you said it's a ine time shot, most people doing iui have the back up of extra bding, so even if the iui doesn't do the trick there is extra. I really hope your baby is not far away.

Wow Toni, what a toll this must be taking on you. I'm glad you are sharing - I find it helps to get it out...and we all need to do it at some point or another!

Wishing you lots of luck and looking forward to hearing good news!

Glad you had a good time away. Not much happening here, I joined up a sport last week but the team got cancelled this week so i'm a bit sad. I'm pretty sure the clomid made me o late and I am relaxing my stance so not sure where I am at, maybe seven to ten dpo.

I'm just waiting out this cycle as our self-inflected "rest" period. RE is recommending that we increase to 100mg of Clomid next cycle which has me panicking about multiples. Expecting AF next week.

I wouldn't worry too much Julie, if multiples aremeant to be they will. All I got from 100mg was lots of side effects and the knowledge clomid does not work for me and a late ovulation. Still waiting for the verdict on a lregnancy but deep down I feel like it's a no

Here too! I have a 2 1/2 year old. I had a miscarriage last year and a chemical pregnancy at the beginning of the year. Here's hoping to this one sticking.

Welcome Kerri!

How many dpo are you Wendy?

Julie - I agree with Wendy that if multiples are meant to be you'll figure it out! Plus, even with clomid it's only an increased chance, not guaranteed!

I'm also waiting out the end of this cycle, but have some spotting today, so excited to start next cycle and maybe finally get lucky!

Not sure Mel, pretty sure I o'd late because of the few opks I did were darkening late. I have dialled back the crazy, no temping limited opks etc so just goingbnwith it. At the least probably seven dpo, but could be more

Hoping to see some more BFP soon!!!! Best of luck ladies!

Awww sorry Toni.

The worst part of not knowing where your at, no idea when af will show. FF says today based on a normal O date, but I don't know when I O'd so it's a guessing game. I feel a bit off, but I have been a bit sick this week with a stomach bug or something, nothing major.

Updated: On to January it seems, looks like af is getting ready to visit. I'm about ready to give up, the age gap is starting to get too big aand I don't think DS will actually cope with a sibling. I don't know how much more I caan do, we have already thrown a couple of thousand dollars at this (thank goodness for small rebates or it would be more) and not sure how much more I can. Take emotionally.

Hugs!!! I know what you mean about the age gap. Dd will be 5 this yr. I didn't want them that far apart but with all DHs deployments & army stuff we have to take what we can get. My sister & I are 5 & half yrs apart. We had our differencs growing up but we are so close as adults. It took us over a yr to conceive DD so I'm not expecting this one to happen anytime soon. And this is the last month we will actively try since our move is only 2 months away.

We got pregnant with DS first month trying. We waited two hears to try again so I didn't have to fightb with backwards doctors for a vabc and now we are at two years of trying. Hubby doesn't want to give up, but it's easy for him, he doesn't have all the procedures and driving for appointments, the disappointment each month, the false signs etc.

It's frustrating and they have no clue how stresful it is on us. Mine tells me to not even tell him stuff to just surprise him when it happens so I always have to vent or talk to my best friend about stuff.

Only one of my closest friends knows, I live in a different town so don't see them often and I only told the one because she is pregnant and I wanted her to know in case I ever came across wrong about her pregnancy. I have two friends here who know and a couple of Mum's at daycare because they have been through infertility before so have some understanding and many hgave seen the same clinic I do so here and another couole of groups ar the places I really have to vent. I have few friends locally

Yea only my best friend & like 2 others know. My family has no clue since they drove me nuts last time and I knew it would be worse this time since we are stationed only 2hr away right now. And I know it would have gotten worse once we move over 4000 miles away in July so I just kept them out the loop lol.

Hugs to both of you! Secondary infertility is really rough!

I'm back on track to TTC for January now. CD6, I think it's month 9 of trying. I'm pretty sure we'll try for 4 months or so and then give up. I hope they get the 2015 boards up soon!!!

So...are we all just going to hang out here 1. Bc we got a BFP (well not me) or 2. Because there are no 2015 boards?!

AFM, i just filled my clomid script - 100mg here we come! Hoping for no nasty side effects (didn't notice anything at 50mg). Wish me luck this time around!

yep, that's what I'm going Julie! No where else to go is there? I guess we could go to the TTC 0-24 months if you all wanted. I hope the clomid works for you this time Julie!

I was fine on 50, 100 was awful. I hope you get through symptom free.

So there will likely be a storm induced baby boom in nineish months around here so I am crossing my fingers that I get some of thatboom luck. I won'@t o for a bit but still maybe I will be lucky

Still here. I had thought we'd try to prevent because we bought a house and are moving at the end of June. Although we are just DTD when we want and not according to ovulation, I can't quite make myself prevent. Since my cycles have been slightly irregular I have the fear that we might miss our chance.

I checked the due date and it would be the day before my birthday.

So far 100mg has been ok - just a headache, but it's an easy fix. Keeping my fingers crossed that I stay side-effect free!

Not much happening around here (except snow, ugh). I'm on CD7, saw the RE this am and everything is looking fine. He asked me to go back on on Friday (which will be CD10) to see if I've o'd. I doubt I will have by then, but would rather go than miss our window.

Snow here.

3 dpo and I keep looking at fertility friend like it will tell me something but I never bothered temping this month because I was so congested for the first bit. This is month 3 of good timing. Mixed feelings about that. I would like to not be pregnant when we move but I also don't want a negative test.

Since my cycle lengths have been so weird I won't test until May. I should have started by then. My luteal phases since September have ranges 10-18 days.

more snow Julie!!! wow! We've finally hit spring, we still have cold mornings but the daffodils are up and things are starting to grow. Smile CD10 seems way early to O!

Any fun holidays Wendy? Easter is this weekend and though I'm not religious, we do celebrate by having a nice dinner. My sister and soon to be BIL are coming so that will be nice.

LOL about looking at FF when you didn't temp Dani! I've done that before too!

CD13 here, going to try to convince DH to DTD tonight and the next couple of nights too. We DTD Sunday, but missed yesterday, so kind of hoping I O on CD15 or 16 and not tomorrow.
