1+, 1-? (update in post 12)

Hi girls, I know Ive never posted here, but I just have a quick question and 2 POAS to show you...

Quick 411 on me, I have the mirena, have had it since April of this year. I have had regular cycles since ive been on it, the witch has shown up on the 27th of every month religiously. I ovulated 2 mondays ago, (the 15th). DB and I had sex the 13th and 14th. Brown/pink spotting last monday (22nd). Been having some symptoms. AF is 3 days late. So I tested this morning when I got in from work. 8am- one step walgreens brand came positive within the 10min mark listed on their instruction manual. Just took a FRER about 30min ago, and came out Neg. I will post the pics here for you to evaluate.

I obvi was not TTC since I have the mirena. Any insight will be greatly appreciated!

TIA

Now for the pics...

Walgreens One step test @ 8am, w. FMU...

I don't know. The first test looks a little "off" to me. I would test with FRER and FMU tomorrow morning and see what happens. Hope things turn out how you want them to! Good luck!

Yeah, getting a BFP with FMU and then a BFN is very common because your urin is very concentrated through the sleep. But this is a Blue Dye test, and from past personal experience, I know not to trust them. So do a FRER in the morning and let us know.

I kinda thought I saw a line in the second one too but it's hard to tell since it's so small. Can't wait to see when you retest. Did you hold your urine for a few hours before taking the 5 pm one? If not I would assume that it would probably be negative this early.

The blue dye looks off center to me and they are notorious for false results. I agree - take another frer with fmu and repost.

GL - I hope it goes the way you want it to!

If you click on the pics it makes them bigger. The blue dye test looks way off center and thin. It is really dark though and if it is a BFN, it needs to be posted in the blue dye false BFP thread sticky.

That blue dye test would be really convincing to an "untrained" POAS reader.
