Okay, I know 8 DPO is really early to test (I have my reasons...sane and insane ) and I know you're not supposed to dig tests out of the trash 5 hours later. So you can call me guilty, but there is a faint line there now. I have heard of this happening to people and then they get a real BFP a few days later. Right? Can someone explain why it might look like this way after the time limit?
My above test is a FRER 6 days sooner test, which I read are showing more false positives and evaps, so I bought Answer brand to test with this morning....and BFN. I'm still only 9 DPO, so I'm going to try to hold out until Sun or Mon when AF is due. But I'm really thinking that the new FRER 6 days sooner test got me.
Well, that FRER was bogus. I guess technically it wasn't, since it didn't look pos until 5 hours later...but AF arrived this evening, so no more waiting and wondering!

Looks positive to me. And even looks pink.
@ 8ish DPO I had a liiiiiiiiiiight line that took forever to s how and I assumed it was an evap- I even got a negative the next day so I was sure it was an evap...however now I got a pos by like 12dpo so I think that one was actually positive!!!
I read on another site how that mosts tests say dont read after 10 minutes but that a lot of tests take a full 10 min to show up... the lines I had the other day were barely visable, and later that night they were DEFINATELY visable and pink!!!
Let me add, that I dug it out of the trash about 2 hours later and I *thought* I saw something, then I looked again at 5 hours later and that's what this pic is. So it was WAY over the 10 minute limit...
I'm going to go pick up another test today. DH is leaving tomorrow for 4 days so I was trying to find out if I'm pregnant or not before he leaves. So I'll take another one in the morning.

Beth!! So excited to see this thread I'm so sorry if this was a false positive! Like you said its early and there is plenty of time. I hope you get better results in a day or two. Fingers crossed for you!!
