Okay.. a lot of you guys know me. Here's my situation... DH had the big V in late March (spring break for our kids so he could heal without the boys around--I took them to MIL's). His first check 6 weeks out (really was closer to 7 cause he's a guy and put it off) came back fertile. No numbers given to us, just told to recheck in 6 weeks. 10 weeks later (I think) he finally redoes the test. Mid August, got the results back as not fertile. The urologist cleared him.

I have been breast feeding DD for almost 15 months now. Prior to DH's big V, I was on depo. I had 2 shots and just didn't get the 3rd one cause it was due 2 months after DH's big V, and we chose to risk it. With me still full time nursing (every 3 hours around the clock), we figured chances on my end were slim, and chances on his were decreasing exponentially.

Fast forward to now. DH's clean check was 3 months ago. Baby Evie will be 15 months on the 29th. She is now averaging 1 night feeding and nurses 4 times a day for about 5 minutes. She was night weened for 2 weeks, but got sick and I've been appeasing her, waiting for the right time to cut the one out again.

Almost 15 months PP and still no first PPAF! I am going CRAZY!!

I have a slew of symptoms, the most disturbing is the smell of kitty litter every where (we don't own a cat box) and the taste of dentist gloves that at first was just after drinking Mango juice, then Lemonade, then OJ, and now, after eating things and as I sit here not eating or drinking anything, I taste it!

I snuck a two pack Kroger brand test box into my grocery cart a few days ago, and tested. First one on Monday, second one yesterday. They are +/- pink dye and look EXACTLY like Equate, but without the Equate word on them. I have NO idea when (or if) I ovulated... but the tests are stupid, and I think they just suck. Here's a pic of yesterdays:

Both yesterday's and Mondays's the horizontal (neg) line started fading as soon as the urine came into contact with it.. before the test time was up. within the 10 minutes, the horizontal line was almost gone. Since they have both dried, I can see a faint vertical line (which I'm calling an Evap).

Then I noticed the box saying "the day your period is missed". So.. It might be too early for that, based on previous pregnancy's and their symptoms.

I went all out crazy and ordered a combo pack of Wondfo OPK's and HPT's on Amazon with prime 2 day shipping. I ordered them yesterday. They haven't even shipped yet and the "arrival date" is WEDNESDAY!! WTF?? 2 day shipping... The fact that this has me crazy PROVES how much of a POASaholic I am! :ROFL:

Call me paranoid, with our current state of fertility on both mine and his parts it would be a miracle to get pregnant, but at least I get to pee on more tests.

Well, I definitely saw the line in the test you posted. I didn't even have to squint. However, how weird and irritating that the horizontal line got so faint already. Wonder why?

Anyway, looking forward to more tests, and hoping that you get the answer you want. :)

Same test a couple hours later... today it doesn't even look like it's supposed to be a +/- test.

hmmm, I can see what you mean! Wow, that would be the 2nd person this week that has gotten a BFP after having a procedure done. I will def. be stalking this tread!! KUP!!! :)

This EXACT thing happened to me on those tests. My test horizontal line almost completely disappeared. I hate those tests too and won't be using them again. Here are my tests

I've been spending WAY too much time on countdown examining the Equate, Other, and Iverness tests (they look like the same test but with/without the Equate name.. pretty sure they are the same manufacturer)... I've come to the conclusion that they are just REALLY crappy tests to use, unless you have missed your period by a few weeks (like I did with my first).

I'm still not sure what's going on with me, though. Symptoms keep getting worse. I could barely open my eyes this morning and this was AFTER I got to sleep in. I'm anxious to get my Wonfo's so I can at least try and track ovulation. The seller still has yet to log if it's shipped or not. I was hoping to have them here today. :(

I would love to have another baby. Like Bonita, we took permanent measures for health reasons. Mine were post delivery, though. I had great pregnancies, but HORRIBLE post delivery problems. The last time, I had seizures. :eek:

But if I were to fall pregnant now, it would be by God's plan and not mine and I'd accept the challenge with a grateful heart.

I'm trying to remain realistic, though. But, honestly, from day one of his procedure, I've had a nagging feeling that It'd reverse itself. DH thinks I'm just paranoid, and experiencing a sense of buyer's remorse. :(

It sounds like you really want another baby. After reading so many stories of some of the ladies on here having some remorse about getting permanent BC done I have come to the conclusion that after I'm done having kids I will use an IUD until menopause just in case I get the "itch" to have another.

I completely feel ya on those crappy tests. I won't be buying them again or the blue dye either.

This holiday has snuck up on me!!

My tests are due Wednesday.. but we are leaving town tomorrow! :(

Well, we MIGHT be leaving tomorrow. DS has a head cold by the sounds of it. Not sure we want to stay in a house with 93 year old Great Gramma and risk passing it on....

Meanwhile.. OH SO QUEASY!! Now, I've been nauseated a few times in the last year, but I haven't been queasy since my bfp with Evie.... If I don't get a cycle in the next week, I'm gonna have to call my doc and ask what my chances are of having a cyst messing with me.

ugh that stinks!! i would call the dr too just to be on the safe side.

Ugh. I can't wait.... I'm loading the baby and heading to the store. Be back soon.... haven't pee'd yet this morning, been holding it while I try to decide what to do. :lol:
