I just got my Wondfo OPKs delivered today and tested with one. I have used the $tree tests but have never got a test line this dark. I know the OPK is not positive but the test line is at least 1/2 as dark as the control if not more. So my question is: will the test line be that dark all month until I O, or does it mean I am close to O'ing? I hope that makes sense. I expected the test line to be snow white or really light. Please help....
took with my phone sorry for the quality
It really varies by woman, point in your cycle, etc. It really means nothing until it's positive.
What cycle day are you on?
I am not sure. AF has not returned since I gave birth. I was breastfeeding up until 3 weeks ago. Thats one of the reasons I got the OPKs. To try and see where I am in my cycle. Would like to try and get pregnant when my son is around 6 months. Just trying to be prepared
I have the same brand, and I get similar lines when i'm approaching O or just have a small flux. It will get darker with O. How dark? I don't know since I haven't O'ed successfully for the past eight months, but I can tell you that isn't a full positive. Hope that helps a little!

Like PP said, it varies from woman to woman. Some ladies have beautiful fade-in patterns and others, like me, just get hit with a blazing positive one day. I'd say that test looks like you are about to O, and you want it to be at least AS DARK if not DARKER than the test line. HTH!

No, there is always a line on the test. As the test gets darker, your body is releasing hormones so that you will ovulate. Once the test line is darker than the control line, your hormones have peaked and your body is releasing an egg. In order to know where you are in your cycle, you need to take 3 or 4 tests in a row (one each day), line them up and see if the line is getting progressively darker. If its not, you are probably not close to O'ing.

It is my understanding that we always have lh in our system. It's just low amount pre-ovulation. When we surge to ovulate the lh increases drastically thus giving you a very dark line. HTH All the best!
I've been using these for over a year now, and for most of the month I have a VERY faint line...I've even had an absolutely snow white one once or twice. But, as I get toward O, I do have them gradually get darker. This month I got a really good progression...I'll put the pic below for you. For me, I'd usually have a line like that about 24 hours before I get +. It may be very different for you, but I'd watch it closely just in case!
My progression pic this month...
