So ages ago I tried the regular cheaper sticks, but they drove me nuts so I switched to digi's. But I think I got some false positives, so I decided to try the cheaper just plain strips for a bit. But now it's been about 3 years since I used them lol
I started them a few days ago. I think I remember that mine usually start out VERY pale and actually they had never seemed to get any darker (most of my frustration before, trying to squint and tell if they were getting darker or not). So I started using them the day after I stopped Clomid. I got the two lines, but one def paler, so a def neg. But they are getting darker, this morning it's still def neg, but it's getting close.
They do progress darker until a positive and then they start getting lighter again right?
When it gets close they don't stay that way for a week or so do they?
I guess my real concern is that I thought clomid was supposed to make you O later. And a week or more after the last pill. But now my opk's are getting dark, and I'm only on CD10, 2 days past clomid.
Any chance it will hover and not be positive till next week? or does it always keep going and getting darker and darker till it's positive?
If I O early on clomid, does that hurt my chances? Bcs I didn't have enough time for the follicles to mature?
Ack, I'm confused!! Someone help? Please?
(and btw I'm so peeved that this pic won't load!!!)
I have read that some women get a fade in pattern. I haven't done a ton of OPKs but I seem to recall there was often a faint line on mine, but they would only start getting dark within about a 24 hour period before the positive. But again, I almost always had a faint line of some kind. Hope you get it figured out and Clomid works for you!
