Opk-updated with HPT
Here are today's (3/7) dollar store OPK, clearblue OPK, and dollar store HPT:
The HPT looks pretty negative to me!
So I bought the new clearblue advanced ovulation tests. It is supposed to show you the 4 most likely days to get pregnant. If you get a flashing smiley face you have high fertility that day and if you get a regular smiley face its peak fertility (ovulation). Well I have been taking them and the last 6 days I have gotten:
All flashing smiley faces! Anyone try these yet? I wonder when I'm going to get my peak fertility.
So today I got another flashing smiley face. I have been looking at the sticks to look at how dark the lines are and today is my darkest line.
I don't know what to do now!
2 of the sticks from the OPK from the past 2 days:
You said you have PCOS right? I am curious if maybe that is messing with the tests? I haven't ever used that brand but it seems like six days of positives is a lot?
I have not been diagnosed with PCOS.
Interesting. I usually go by EWCM or a $tree cheapie. That does seem like a lot of days to get a flashing smiley...if that were true you should be O-ing, like, now. Are you testing twice a day?
No just once a day that's what the instructions say to do. I have noticed that the lines on the stripes are getting darker tho.
I don't know how those specific tests work but I know other OPKs can double as pregnancy tests. Is it possible that you are preggo?
Mandy- it could be possible that I could be prego but I just don't know. I wish I could email clearblue and ask them. I got another flashing smiley face today. I know I probably won't be buying this kind anymore tho,
Sorry, I get people mixed up and I think I have heard about PCOS throwing out positives on OPKs (but again could be really wrong), but since you don't have PCOS never mind on that front....
I used the Wondfos from Amazon, and it was easier to tell what was positive and what wasn't. I know that the pregnancy digitals always have two lines but I don't know about the OPKs.
It's ok! I'm just wondering what is going on! I suppose it will work itself out eventually!
Go take a HPT. There's no way those should still be positive. :)
