Default OPK ???- updated w/ pics!

So I am one of those unlucky peeps who doesnt get a progression on her OPKs. With past ttc they have varied at different times either no line or light line when I am not O'ing but they dont progressively get darker. I feel this is sucky I want a nice progression to tell me O is coming, wahh.... Anyway I am cd 12 and still getting stark whites on my OPKs, they are ICs. I am starting to worry they might be duds or worse that I'm not going to O. I am starting to have pre-O signs though I have painful Os my whole abdominal area will hurt when the egg releases for a few hours and stay a little sore for a day or so+I have cramping leading up to O. I started having that cramping today and had EWCM today as well. Still nada on those tests I am testing twice a day too. I have some old tests (ICs diff brand)fromlast time ttc and they are quite expired but I know they work bc I used them to find out I was pg a few months ago with our loss (confirming w/ an hpt later) so I double dipped today one of the new and one of the old. The first time the old one registered a light line and no line on the new one. The 2nd time about 5 hrs later neither had a line on it. So what to do? I think I am gearing up to O but maybe I am just not producing enought LH to register? Do I go get some new tests? I hate to spend a lot of money on expensive store tests especially since we are dtd every other day to every day now to optimize our chances. However I am going to go crazy not getting a positive OPK to confirm. P.S. I re read this and it sounds like I am getting no lines on the OPKs at all. Just wanted to clarify I am getting control lines lol just not the test line.

Sorry you are having such a hard time with your OPKs. I know they are expensive, but I would suggest getting the digital OPK test that give you a smily face when you ovulate. No Questions to whether or not you O. You can often find coupons online or find a deal on Amazon. I would use IC OPKs until I thought I was getting close and then I'd use the digital. Good luck!

    Do you/have you ever temped?
I went through 2+ years of fertility issues and used opks, fertility monitord and temping, along with being monitored by an RE (through b/w and u/s).
The best indicator for me was temping. My RE is not a fan of OPKs as he says that by the time you get a +ve, it's really too late. I know a log of people swear by them, but having been througb cycles of temping, opks and blood work, they are far from the best way go tell.

Sounds , like you are covering your bases on the dtd side of things anyway!
    Good luck!

I have temped but am not right now. I tend to obsess slightly over things like temping lol so in order to reduce stress Im not temping. With the loss in April Im already stressing a lot. I do check my cp and cm though and I have O pains when I O so that helps as well to pinpoint.

I got positive OPKs today anyway though or this evening I should say and had O pains as well so Im either O'ing today or will shortly!
