Thoughts? Or experiences?

I know I broke all the rules by going with a blue dye test. I wasn't even thinking! Gahh!

And I broke them all again when I opened it! The digi part said not pregnant, but the strip has two distinct lines.

I've always opened my digi tests and never had two lines unless I was pregnant. When I haven't been pregnant, there's always only been the control.

Here it is!! Anybody have any thoughts, or experiences? Anybody have a digi that was a BFN you are willing to open and tell me what you see?

I have ony used digis to confirm, so they have always been positive, but my understanding is that they work differently and will always show two lines, even if BFN.

Aw, I have no idea, but I admire your level of rule breaking!! Are you TTC or JLIH? I hope you get the answer you want!!

I've heard that the digi's test both hcg and lh (or something like that) and that they always have 2 lines when taken apart, bfp or bfn. I've had bfn's on digi's and had two lines (though I don't recall the second line being as dark as your line is). I'd retest. All the best!!

I have heard that digis are impossible to read by eye because they always have two lines and the test analyzes the exact shade of the line. I've cracked one open before, and it did have two lines even though it was negative and I did not get pregnant that cycle. Sorry! Good luck though!

I've never been able to pry mine open. They are Tough MF'ers to open and I always break a nail or two before I give up. ROFL

But, I too have heard they have two lines regardless of negative result.

You have me laughing. I can just see you sitting there prying. Have you tried a nail file? Or a hammer?

ROFL a hammer!!!!!! ROFL

I don't file my nails, so the only files I have are attached to nail clippers and they twist when I try and then I impale myself. ROFL

A hammer.... ROFL

You are in luck! I still had my digital test from last week. I don't need it anymore so I was happy to open it and see what was inside. I had no idea that there would be 2 lines in there. At the time I was around 4 weeks pregnant.
Here is a picture I just took of my test! BTW I think you are pregnant so go buy a FRER, he he!

I am curious how this turned out? Are you pregnant? I did this once with my now 2 year old and posed this same question and for me it wound up being a true positive.
