Good luck! It sounds to me like you want another, so maybe even if you aren't preggo this month, you can use this to start a discussion with your DH about starting to try for another.

We're not really trying. I'm currently a stay at home mom and finances are insanely tight right now. So, in that respect it's not an ideal time, as we'd like to be more financially set and stable. However, I've always told my hubby that I want 2, and we both know that our son would be an AWESOME big brother and would benefit from a sibling.

My hubby used to say that he didn't want any kids after he turns 35, which was 2 years ago! He's since given up on that, which I think has been helped along by his sister. My SIL got remarried earlier this year and promptly got pregnant (actually she was preggers before they got married). My SIL has two older boys (17 and 12), she will be 40 this month, and her new hubby is 42. So I think with my hubby seeing that they're already in their 40's and having a baby, makes it easier for him to accept us having another one.
(I hope all that makes sense! lol! )

I'm still pretty young - will be 29 on Christmas Eve, so for me, having a baby now, or even in the next few years wouldn't be a problem. But there's an 8 year age gap between me and the hubs, and he doesn't want to be an "old" dad. Like I said above with my SIL and BIL beginning their 40s with a baby, I think that helps my hubby realize that he's not all that old yet, lol.

Well, cycle is estimated to start today, hasn't come yet. I just peed on a FRER - BFN. I'm still kinda holding onto some hope until I see AF. When I was pregnant with my son, I was 5 days late when I took the test and it came up positive so fast.

    Today, I didn't used FMU, so maybe . . . . . . we'll see.

    I hate the waiting!

Yes, that all totally makes sense. My DH will be 39 when this one arrives...I'll be 36 which is pushing my comfort level since I wanted to be done at 35 with having babies. But life just gets in the way

You definitely still have time with your age and IMHO that is the one that matters the most AFA age goes.

Sorry about the BFN...hoping things turn out for the best for you and your family.
