Wondfo HCG

We are TTCing. I bought a multipack of Wondfo OPKs and HCGs.

I got a postive OPK on Saturday, I just had my IUD removed earlier in February.

Because I had a BUNCH of HCG tests, I decided to take one, when I know it would be negative, to see what a negative looks like on the Wondfo.

I didn't see anything at first, but when it dried, it definitely left a line. For an evap line, it was pretty convincing, I could have swore it had color. But I know I'm not pregnant. So that goes to show that you can't look at it past the 5 minutes.

Anyone else have the same experience with Wondfo?

I've seen a line at a certain point while it's still wet, but after the test dries completely I don't see a line. I can usually find an indent (and sometimes a faint line that I swear has some color) on the early pg test ones though. Those have a solid blue "handle."

Just last month I tested out my hcg trigger-could definitely see a line, then took several tests that were without a doubt BFNs. No trace of a line at all on mine, and I kept them for days-hoping. This is the first time I've used Wondfos myself and I was worried about false results because they are so cheap. Mine seemed to be accurate, though.

When I ordered them on Amazon, there were a few reviews that talked about bad results depending on where they came from. Maybe different batches are less reliable? The ones I used didn't have a blue handle, it was red/pink.

The ones I have have pink on one end, but not really a handle. Just the part of the strip you are suppose to hold.

I was pleased with the OPKs I got in the same batch (from Amazon). I just hope I like the HCG ones as well! (I'll let you know in 10 days!)

The "real" Wondfo hpts say "hcg" and are pink and their opks say "LH" and are blue. I know some people have received something other than Wondfos when they thought they were ordering Wondfos. Of the cheap ICs, the Wondfos are my favorites because I never see a second line on the hpts (except that brief time period while they are drying). Their opks seem to have a lot of dye and I assume their hpts do, too. Never had a BFP on one though.

I agree with Beth- I've taken probably 100's of wondofos PINK ones that say HCG on them and have never ever gotten an evap or anything that looked like a line- with color- besides just the indent EXCEPT for when I actually got a bfp. So, I really like them and trust them

I've gotten evaps here and there. Sometimes they're kind of convincing. I had one I almost took a picture of just to show a tricky evap. I'd try another to see if you get one like that again. With mine I was almost certain I couldn't be pregnant and when I took another it was obviously negative. These were the pink wondfo with "HCG" on them.

Cait and Beth, where do you buy these? I wonder if they will ship to NZ...Do they do OPK too? HPT and OPK are so expensive here like ($25 USD for a 1 pack HPK and the only OPK I have found here is a clearblue pack of 7 for $89 USD)

For some reason we don't get the cool tests that you do, the FR tests here are just strip ones Sad

That is CRAZY expensive. Are you allowed to get packages from the US with OPKs and HPTs in them?

I'm pretty sure Amazon won't ship them outside the US (I live in Laos, and I had to order them to my BFFs house and have her send them on to me). She put "pregnancy tests" on the customs form, and it wasn't an issue- I got them super quick, so there was no hold up in customs.

Once I ordered some different cheapies and they came from Canada to the US, and the person who sent them to me listed them as "cosmetics" on the customs form. I don't know if that is legal or not, but... well, it worked.
