The down side of EC

Having to get up and take DD potty in the wee hours of the morning, because she is fussing and refuses to go back to sleep.

It does not help that she was up at 11, 2, 4 and 5:30. Then DS jumped in bed at 7. She's just cut her 4 top teeth. I am strating to wonder if the molars are not bothering her.

Sorry you had such a rough night! Hopefully tonight will be better and she can get some relief from those teeth! No fun for anyone!!

Ugh... I was up 3 times as well... And Leo is over 11 months. No teeth yet either.

That's when I drafter DH and told him he had to get up every other time... but sometimes it's just not worth the effort to get him to get up.

I usually get DH up in the morning, so I can get an extra few minutes of sleep.
I am with you there, going through the trouble of waking him in the night is not worth it.

we haven't started the night time ec yet, if i get her at the first fuss around 7 a lot of times she's still dry, but after that there's no chance. not looking forward to that part! i hate getting out of bed in the middle of the night!
