Well, tonite we were opening up xmas gifts that arrived today from DH's gma, so we ran a little late on her bedtime. Evie was very tired and just refused to pee, so we had to put her in pull ups tonite, explaining to her that if she didn't peepee right before bed, she had to be in a pull up so that she wouldn't end up sleeping in her pee and get the chills (it has happened once and I felt terrible about it). I was so sad about having to put pull ups on her (and she totally didn't want it). But so far, she has been dry for 2 nites in her training pants, I'm proud of her.
Geez, it's been a while! Well, Evie is pretty much daytime potty-trained. In fact, for a while, she was doing great at night as well, I could put her in training pants and she would sleep about 8-10 hrs before waking up to pee. It did make me a bit tired since I tend to sleep later, but so worth it.
However, in the past couple of nights, she has started peeing in bed again, so tonite we've put pullups on. And now we've just figured out that maybe it's her teething that interrupting her nighttime potty progress. A bit disappointing but really I know it's just temporary.
I just stopped by and saw your signature... Big hugs...

Thanks ladies, I appreciate the hugs. This last chem pg/m/c has hit me particularly hard as I really thought that everything was in order but the test lines never really got darker. Not only that, but Evie has been asking for a sister ever since.
However, I did go to my Mar 30 gyn appt and the dr wasted no time get me tested for all kinds of stuff, mostly blood tests and an HSG. Since my cycles have always be fairly regular, she figures it's just age related and that I will get pg, but it's going to take longer and higher chance of m/c.
In other news, Evie was pretty good, totally potty trained day and night, but now that she is really insistent on calling the shots these days. She doesn't want to go potty when she is playing, so she has had one daytime accident with us, and lots of night time accidents. I think terrible 2's may play a role....she hardly ever wants to go if we suggest it, and seems to me that if we don't ask, she waits until the last possible moment to go, and even when she knows where the potty is and can pull down her own pants/underwear, she still wants to call for us to help her.....feels like her EC is going backwards, but I think it's just her trying to assert her independence and figure out at what point she wants to go and what to do. For day, we just keep asking or telling her where the potty is and remind/encourage her to go to potty all on her own. At night, a lot of times she refuses to go potty before going to bed. Sometimes, I insist, other times, we just wake her after she has slept 1.5 or 3 hrs and take her to the potty. Tonight, she apparently woke up and asked for help (we still have a monitor in her room) so DH took care of her, as I was dead-to-the-world sleeping.
