    Default Atkins diet while breasfeeding?

Hey girls. I'm really wanting to start the low-carb/Atkins diet now that Trystan is here, but I'm just wondering if anyone has heard any cons about doing this diet while BF? It's very high in calories, so I'm not worried about that. I'm really not a big meat eater, so my diet will consist of lots of salads, chicken, tuna, eggs (cooked many ways), asparagus, brocolli, cauliflower, peanuts... so I wouldn't think there would be any issues with that. Any thoughts?

Any diet while BF needs to be high enough in calories and balanced enough to get all nutrients and vitamins. carbs contain lots of B vitamins - will you be eating enough other items with B vitamins in them?

I can't say that I've ever checked on the vitamin content of what I'm eating while on Atkins. I guess I could always take a B vitamin? I think my biggest issue would just be making sure I eat at least 1800 calories per day...
