I don't care anymore...if people have an issue with me feeding my child then they can go somewhere else. It's a boob for crying out loud...there is nothing disgusting about giving your child something to eat. Sometimes I feel like just flashing the people who like to stare...asking them if they'd like a quick drink perhaps.
And yea...Kaylin has grabbed the skin under the nip too...it hurts like none other. I had a little bruise the next day!
I was just waiting for someone to comment or ask me to go feed her in the bathroom. I was going to tell them to try eating their lunch in a bathroom...ewwww
That really SUCKS (no pun intended) that you have to deal with that... you go girls who have the courage to NIP despite societal hostility!! I'm sure each time it's viewed by the uneducated masses, it serves to normalize it a little bit more.
Good for you!!
what do you think about me asking to sticky this thread ladies???
It should be a sticky!

Yes, I agree...STICKY!
And that is so dang awful when they ask you too feed in the bathroom. I'd go balistic on someone if they told me that. I've already had one old psycho tell me "this is not a nursery" and it wasn't pretty. I hope he'll think twice before doing that again. I was tempted to let all the air out of his tires but I decided against it because I didn't want to be that crazy! lol But I sure felt like it!

My state just passed a law "legalizing NIP." I was watching the news yesterday and actually shocked that there wasn't already something like that. It basically means that businesses and restaurants can't ask you to leave or cover-up while NIP. I find it really sad that we actually need a LAW that allows us to feed our kids!
I haven't tried NIP except for an ORV park where there weren't a lot of people. We travelled to Seattle a couple weeks ago and I just nursed in the air conditioned car, but I know I'm going to have to NIP more publicly soon.
