Biting (TMI)

So my son is biting my nipple a lot lately, usually when he nearing the end of his feed. He has bitten me so hard that a my nipple hurt for 4-5 days after. I know there is probably not a lot I can do about it but I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for making him stop.

I always ended the nursing session immediately. I would put a big frown on my face and say, "ouch! Hurt mommy!" Often if it's at the end it just means he's done. Try to end nursing before he bites as soon as you notice him changing his sucking pattern.

Thanks Ladies Smile I've been pulling him off when I notice a change in feeding and haven't been bitten in a week. My nipples thank you!
