Default Breastfeeding and Aspirin? *Never Mind*

I just had a son in May and have been breastfeeding and pumping while at work. I just found out that I am preggers again. I have a clotting disorder that requires me to take 81mg of aspirin a day while preg. Obviously I have a message into my Dr but I am impatient I have read that taking aspirin while preg can cause reyes syndrome. I have also read that it is okay in low doses. Needless to say I a confused! Do any of you know anything about it? If so please share

    * My Dr just informed me with my history of miscarriages I need to quit breastfeeding any how I am pretty bummed but I have to do what is right.

Depending on the reasoning for your miscarriages, many times there is no reason (even with a history) to stop BFing due to pregnancy. Many OBs go straight to "it's dangerous" without really thinking it though and knowing the true risks. You could be a unique case, but figured I'd mention this just in case.

The more I think about it the better it probably is to quit bfeeding. I have to take aspirin while preg along with progesterone suppositories. Not to mention that I had a lot of issues with getting enough calcium while preg with DD. I am a tiny person too begin with so I do think that doing both will take a lot out of me no matter how healthy I eat. For example by 2 months I had lost all my baby weight with just breastfeeding and a tiny bit of exercising. I am now 5lbs under my pre preg weight. I am still upset with having to quit but I know it is for the best.thank you for the articles though!.
