I just warmed some of my frozen milk up and tried it myself and YUCK!!!! No wonder my baby wont eat it! It has this soapy, nasty, chemical, acid taste! How do I get rid of this so I can store my milk and have him drink it?
I think I figured out what is going on. I guess I get to scald my breast milk before storing it now, oh joy, seems I make an excess amount of the enzyme lipase and it is breaking my milk down making it go bad. Great enzyme for fresh milk and wonderful for babies but not so great for wanting to store milk.
