My Boobs are not my own

:bfing:

I swear she's been on them half the day!!! I'm sore and tired from sitting on my bum.

Today would have been a wonderful day to have a nurse in in bed all day... if I didn't have two other kids to take care of and no school today. *sigh*

She's not just clingy today, she's clingy to the booby. My nips are sore. I'm hoping she'll sleep okay tonight. She's sapped the energy right out of me.

I've forgotten how much energy it takes to have a growth spurt. Lol

Oy. We've had plenty of those days ... and nights. Hang in there mama! Growth spurts are intense but they're usually pretty short.

I swear Trystan has been doing the same thing to me! He wants to BF every two hours, like he's a newborn again! I was wondering what was going on, and it must be a growth spurt as you described! My problem is I always feel like I'm not producing enough to meet his demand, so I'm maxing out on fenugreek and eating about five lactation cookies per day!!

I have the same problem. She RARELY finishes a session contented. I usually have to substitute with the binky cause I run empty and she isn't happy. I've had this issue since about 8 weeks. She's gaining weight in her curve still, so I haven't made any BIG efforts to increase my supply. I keep thinking I should make some cookies. But i'm too busy to stop and do it. LOL

Janelle, I haven't really noticed a difference with the cookies, as I haven't had any for about four days now! I'm kind of thankful for it anyway as I hated eating the extra calories lol! I have been eating a big bowl of oatmeal every morning (two servings) for breakfast, and that's definitely hepled keep my supply up!

Oatmeal helped at first, but it stopped helping after a while. Not sure why.

We went to Gramma's house for spring break (7 days straight) and she, for the most part, was a little piggy. Every time she saw me she'd cry for me and when she'd get me, she'd just assume the position and start digging around my shirt even if I just fed her 30 minutes before. I think she was getting too much gramma and great gramma attention and not enough mommy snuggles. We are back home, and I hope she calms back down.
