no frenulectomy. For now.
He said that hers was too thick for him to cut it in office (but then said he would if I really wanted him to). He suggested that the best form of frenulectomy would be to actually cut it in multiple places and fold it under (or something like that) so that it wouldn't fuse back together. And for that, he needs to put her under, so we are talking at least a year. He said that it might not affect dental at all, so he said he'd rather wait and see what happens and bow out and let the dentist handle it when necessary.
Frusterating, but oh well.
I think I will bow down now with it and pray she doesn't scare the crap out of me breaking it when she's learning to walk. I'll just have to remember that if she does, the bleeding will stop and it doesn't need an ER visit. :confused:
