    Default Pinching and scratching

DS2 will be 7 months on the 13th. He constantly scratches and pinches on the boob he's nursing on. He likes to keep his free hand right up there around his month and pushes, massages, scratches and pinches my poop. It hurts! Any ways to stop this. I take his hand away and of course that doesn't do a darn thing. Was thinking about getting a big chunky necklace like a nursing necklace but wasn't sure if those actually work or not.

    Any other advice?

I used a nursing necklace for just that reason. It doesn't have to be an actual nursing necklace as those can be pricey just because it's a niche market. Just something sturdy and chunky and not hideous. I also spent a lot of time looking into DDs eyes while holding and kissing her hands. You can play finger games with them. Whatever it takes. I say this as my LO is tweaking the opposite nipple and talking while she nurses.

Yep, when that started I finally started cutting DS's nails more often. Ha ha. My son still loves to play with the opposite nipple like Erin's daughter. A lot of the kneading actually helps bring in the milk faster to them, which is why many babies do it.
Nursing necklaces help some. My son used one to choke me. So then we started doing finger games. I sing to him. I read to him. I give him things to play with, like my phone or the TV remote.

You are brave. I don't arm my child while nursing.

Thankfully a stuffed Elmo works wonders right now.
