Re-lactating without an Rx.
Anyone been successful with this?
My background: Breastfed DS1 for 21 months, never supplement, pumped at worked. Drank some Mothers Milk tea now and then, no issues with supply.
DS2: Breastfed for 5 months, he really liked the bottles and it was hard getting him to suck hard enough to up my supply and he would just SCREAM and we slowly ended up nursing less and giving bottles more. He's 6 months old now and I REALLY want to re-lactate. Seems like the only successful stories I can find are people who took Reglan/Domperidone. Domperidone is not available in the US and Reglan can cause depression and I don't want to mess around with that.
I spoke to a LLL leader already and know about water and galactagogues, I do have Lactate Support capsules: http://www.amazon.com/Gaia-Herbs-Lac...2343912&sr=8-1 I am pumping as often as I can and only getting drops so far, been 2 days. I've looked at an SNS and if I am able to get any kind of supply back, plan to get one.
So any advice/tips/stories?
