Been awhile since I been here...I nursed Ds for 14 months and pumped when I returned to work. I used my Medela Pump in Style Advanced and had great success. I plan on pumping when I return to work (and before to get a good frozen stash) at 12 weeks. Will my pump still work as well as it did almost 3 years ago??? Any experience with this? Thanks!!!

I'm just about to wrap up using my PISA for the first time and I'm anticipating using it again in 2-3 years. There's really no reason it shouldn't work just fine. You should go out and get new membranes and maybe even new hoses. Those things do get worn out but are pretty cheap to replace. Might as well start out fresh!
I used my Medela with both my kids and it worked great (i bought it in2008 ) I did replace tubing, and membranes the second time. My question is will my pump still work as good for #3?? It will be 4 years old at that point.

my kids are 3 years apart, and I have been pumping with the same PISA from DS1. Been back to work since 12 weeks and DS2 is now 7 months. Definitely replace the membranes every few months. customer service recommended 1-2 months, but I assume that was more for people pumping full time. i find every 3 months works well.
Believe it or not my pump was 8 years old and worked like a charm!!! I think you should be ok.
