She told me that I would not be going full time. They will induce me at around 38 weeks maybe before.
They will keep an eye and they will do what they can to keep it as natural as possible.
But no water birth for me... Boo!!
BUT!!!! Lots of drugs!!!!! Yay!!!!!

He is breech so getting pics has been hard!!
I really wanted to see his willy but he wasn't having it!!
Saw his eyes open and close and he needed a wee.
Got a couple of pics but left them in my notes so will upload later... Not sure you'll work out what is what though.
He gave the nurse a few good kicks to tell her to buggar off and hid behind his hands a lot.

Here's a belly picture - about 2 weeks old already!! This is me at 23 weeks 1 day....already outgrowing some of my maternity tops in length :(




And my most recent picture of baby - 24 weeks when they checked my cervical length, they took a quick peek a baby too -- looks like he was maybe sucking his thumb :)



Everything looked great at my last appointment btw - Cervical length was hanging in there at 36 mm - was 39 mm when we checked it last at 20 weeks, so she feels confident in not checking it any more. I was very happy with 36 mm - at 24 weeks w/ DS, I was 34 mm at that point. It wasn't until 28 weeks with DS that my cervical length dropped, but then it held steady at that point when we rechecked at 30 & 32 weeks :)

I would love a baby shower but..... There are people in my area who I don't class as friends.
They are the other halves of my other halves friends.
Since ttc both m and I have been excluded from things with these people because we didn't have a child.
Even being babysitter for one couple and having a great connection to the kids didn't get us an invite to a child's birthday party where all the group was hanging out.
There is one of the girls who was a friend but then I overheard her saying some rather nasty things about me and my then infertility so I def don't want her there.
2 girls I would ask. One I see here and there socially and the other sporadically pops a baby book in.
The others have done nothing wrong, I just don't class them as friends.
I have more contact with you guys!! We say hi when we bump into each other.
They all socialise together regularly. Which I have never been included in.
My problem is... If I only invited the 2 and didn't the others.. Would that cause more problems for m with the husbands.
Surely as they don't invite me snywhere they wouldn't have a problem with me not inviting them?
Or should I suck it up... Invite them and put my thick skin on when they leave knowing I will be picked apart!
The group have a pack mentality where they attack the one who's not there.
Of should I just avoid having a baby shower?

I had a growth u/s as well and she is still a girl. She is measuring a week behind still, just like 7 weeks ago. Doctor said she is in the 37 percentile for size. Tech says she is about 2 pounds. Everyone seemed okay with that.

They didn't tell me my bp numbers but I guess they were fine. Pricked my finger for something but never told me what.

Anyway, things are pretty good and I am very thankful!!! Last weekend I was able to order our stroller and carseat off from that site for the same price as just buying the stroller. Today I ordered the swing and the price was $50 cheaper then Amazon. All of the things are way more expensive on at Target too, which is my other go to baby place.

Overall I've saved about $200! Ideally it would be cheaper to buy used, but I went to all of the consignment stores in the area last weekend and I couldn't believe how used everything looked. The carseats and strollers that they were selling were not that much cheaper then what I paid for things off from nowbetterdeal, and they looked older and more beat up then the strollers and carseats that my girls have been using for 5+ years!

The swing that I bought today was the same price as the comparable used swings that I was looking at last weekend. Nobetterdeal's items change daily, and most of their inventory is very limited, but I hope that this helps someone out. Baby stuff is just so expensive. I was looking over the weekend and tried a few out. Our first one was a Graco and we liked it but sold it because it would expire before we planned to have a use for it. It went up to 22 pounds but my kids outgrew it in length by about 8 months. Now there are ones that go to 30 or 35 pounds. I don't think I really want a bigger one though.

The one I thought I wanted was really hard to buckle! It was a baby trend one, and kind of tricky. Also the handle only clicked in two positions, which bothers me for some reason. The graco ones buckled well but the chest clip seemed much flimsier than our first seat.

I have the old Graco travel system stroller but I don't know if it will work with a new infant seat if I get the 22 pound one. So I really don't even know if we want a set or just the infant seat. And I really want a jogging stroller. I don't know if I've mentioned that there is no chinese takeout place anywhere in my vicinity, and the closest asian place is 40 minutes away, won't deliver this far and isn't that good anyway. I couldn't even find eggroll wrappers ANYWHERE!

So I took matter into my own hands!! I made it from scratch!
I made eggrolls, general tzo's chicken, beef stir fry, lo mein noodles, and wonton soup! It was sooooooo good!!!!!! really tasted just like NY chinese take out, mmmmmm!

I'm sure that it's nothing like what actual people in China eat, but hey, it's what I know and love, and it worked for me! (it's like getting a Shawarma or a felafel anywhere but here - gross! But if you don't know any better, you might like it!)
