Instead of losing a few points and gaining title of Personality Supreme, shouldn't something more be done? Is this acceptable to people?

    Reality TV

Even the judges, who are generally caught off guard by just about nothing, seemed shocked, and did indeed deduct points from her score. Then again, they also rewarded her with the title of "Personality Supreme." We can only hope that in the next pageant, mommy Lisa will have slightly less dubious encouraging words for little Destiny than, "Don't forget to smoke."

It's not acceptable, but what are you suggesting be done?

not cool but I also am not sure what you think should be done? Judges banned from judging? Mom banned from being a mom?

I have no idea. Maybe if I was the judge, I'd have disqualified her and asked her to leave the pageant. I don't know anything about the rules or anything but when I look at that I really feel so awful. I can't believe any title was given to her.

I would say "not acceptable", and pretty tacky too. But then I think back to when I was a kid and candy cigarettes were all the rage. We would pretend to smoke - it was even better if we had them in the winter since you could see your breath.

I'm open to thoughts too about what people think should be done or would be nice if could be done etc.

Well, as I said in the other pageant debate I think pageants in general are pretty harmful to girls. Not all (I was in the Junior Miss pageant as a senior in high school. No beauty/bathing suit and that I can handle). I don't think this one thing stops her from winning other awards at the pageant though. I'm mixed.

I do agree that as a kid we still ate candy cigs and the ones that were gum that had the "smoke" and I'm only 32 and nobody batted an eye.

Yeah but those times were WAY different in terms of laws and awareness.

I think she should have been disqualified.

All I can really think is that the mom need a good slap upside her head
