This is just so very wrong!!! Anne is NOT blonde and never will be blonde.

I saw this and I was horrified! A huge part of the story is her red hair! I hate when companies feel that *THIS* is what will sell books. The story is fantastic and can sell itself.

LOL! This is so funny! Obviously nobody read the book, or saw the movie, or knows anything about Anne of Green Gables.

Actually, its pretty sad.

Incredibly thoughtless marketing move.

On a side note, that does remind me that I wanted to introduce one of my daughters now to "Anne with an E." :)

I read the entire series (all 8 books) yearly! I think I started when I was 10 reading the series.

Really hated the prequel they did for the 100th anniversary - they changed the story of Anne's parents, her mom died but her father was an alcoholic who could not look after her.... so very wrong!

My DD is really freaked out. She says "not only is she not blond, she is not someone that tries to be sexy" She emailed the company
