    ROFL ..

these posts have become so funny. Seriously.

The more I think about it the creepier it sounds to me to live in a place where EVERYONE is the same. It's like that show, The Neighbors with the aliens. If we were like that, it'd be creeeeeeepy! They've only lived there for a short time and they are unraveling. So .. it's just a fantasy which can easily be ruined by reality.

In Quebec the actually get to vote if they want to stay or go. They call a referendum and then the fate of the rest of the country is in the hands of the Quebecois. I remember in 1995 the vote was soooooo slim - like 51-49%. That is bat $hit crazy to think how close we actually came to separation 17 years ago and everyone breathed a collective national sigh of relief. Now it's like "Meh. Wasn't there some kind of vote going on last night in Quebec?"

Hmmm. I wouldn't mind kicking my brother in law out of the country. Can I do that under any of these laws or coming ones?? =D

Good to know that there are people throwing temper tantrums over democracy all over this great land. Since they don't like democracy (unless their side is in the majority) I wonder what system they would prefer?

It's Not about democracy. It's about the fact that we already KNOW what the current President's idea of "change" is and were honestly hoping for a different kind of change. I want less Federal government and I know there are millions out there that agree. And even more that don't want the healthcare law, abortion, or the redistribution of wealth we know is coming let alone all of the waste of our kid's future tax dollars.

But that IS about democracy. Even if you want something and millions others do, if you're in the minority, and it was a good fair vote, then that's too bad. It might suck, but that's democracy. It's not like it's an argument because the popular vote went one way and the electoral went the other, it's just a plain that side got less votes. That's what democracy is.

I really would be curious to know if democracy isn't what these people want, then what do they want?
