Yes, there are always pros and cons for every situation. I don't doubt there are people who are more than happy to work on Thanksgiving day. I jut have personal issues with our consumerism and our desire to have tons of cheap stuff and the prioritization of it. Trust me, i don't want to start making laws about retail on thanksgiving or anything lol.
Online only for me!
I dont really enjoy shopping. I especially dont want to do it with 4 kids 6 and under! I dont like big crowds racing around like crazy people. If I need something, I buy it online majority of the time. Literally, almost everything I have comes from online. I usually find things much cheaper than in the stores and get it shipped free.

This. The idea of spending all day in lines, fighting my way through crowsd just to buy some stuff? *shudder* No thanks. I may check and see if there are any deals online that might be good, but I will be as far away from physical retail shops as I can get that day. Not my thing at all. Like the opposite of my thing.

We don't have black Friday here, boxing day is our big sale day and i do tend to wander down to the shops. I live in a small town so there are few crowds, the crazy shoppers head up to the nearest big town, and I am generally there just to buy reduced Christmas stuff like new decorations, stocking stuffers for next year, and some of those guilty gift items they market this time of year.
99% of the time the deals in store are also online. In general, I still don't even do much shopping online for Black Friday either. Extreme shopping isn't my thing.
No.
But we don't have Thanksgiving or Black Friday here. I did my Christmas shopping last week in England.
I have in the past taken advantage of Black Friday deal for clothes for my kids, especially at Gymboree.
