Anyway, I think it's a great badge idea. There's a lot more involved than playing a video game. I think it's neat. Beats the crap out of my Brownies basket weaving badge.

I agree. It's a lot more than playing a game, and it's a good way to incorporate one of the passions most of these kids have.

Yes I do. There is some fun stuff in there.

I will admit, at first I thought it was a terrible plan. Do kids really need incentive to play more video games? But upon looking at what they are including (like teaching an adult to play the game) it seems that they are encouraging kids to learn new skills through gaming. I think I mind less. But honestly, I would rather they do anything besides sit in front of that screen more.
