Well then that clinches it. She did it while teaching and that alone should be enough to terminate.

Bonita~no my boss cannot ask about past drug habits. If there is a concern about current drug habits that can vary. My employer is also not supposed to even ask me if I have kids during my hiring process. If they do, I have no obligation to answer and it is not considered lying in the future once I'm hired.

It doesn't say anything about her deceit being insurmountable. Pretty straightforward to me. You arent the only person in this debate, and to some of us, it does matter 'to the debate'. I dont see Bonita 'carrying on' about anything. She is simply debating in a civil manner.
IMO denying it could very well be what made it an 'insurmountable, recurring disruption', as it is possible that if she had been up front and honest, the school would have had the opportunity to minimize the effects.

She deserved to be fired. She was subbing while doing porn, and she was very deceitful. This was the THIRD district where she has been outed. It appears that her porn career was too long, too recent, and she looks exactly the same as she did in those videos. She will have to change her name, her look and probably her state to even have a chance at teaching, IMO

Yes, I apologize, in no way did I mean other people could not continue to debate it, I just meant that I was done going back and forth on this issue with her. Sorry if I wasn't clear. If you believe that the school could have somehow controlled the internet had they known in advance, thats great!

Oh and as to the topic, i agree with this new information, i can't see defending her in anyway at this point.

But as to a question Jessica asked earlier, about when does the school ever have the right to ask if she has been in any pornos. I think they have the right to ask when the school kids have discovered it and it is becoming problematic for the classrooms. As finding out if its true or not will determine how to handle the situation.

I do apologize for the creativity comment. I dont have a 'bug up my ***' but I do have a baby with an ear infection antibiotics wont touch and an upset stomach from the antibiotics we are trying, plus my husband is away so I have no help. I dont think I have had more than an hours sleep in a row for over a week now. Apparently lack of sleep makes all my thoughts spill out of the keyboard unchecked.

I understand! My DH was away all week and just got in on a red eye (so he is in bed), I was being unnecessarily short tempered last night :) So I honestly did mean my apology, I was done going back and forth but didn't mean to imply others couldn't debate it, I wasn't being snarky. I hope Trent feels better soon.

I really feel like I would not want this teacher teaching my kids anywhere, anytime. Her lack of judgment is rather gross and egregious. When I gave my "solution" above I meant it as what I saw as her only option ~ essentially she can try to run from her past and start over and live holding her breath in fear that her past comes out. I still wouldn't want her to teach my kids, I read through the entire testimony and it STILL feels like she is lying and hedging, and she is under oath! Thats lame.
