Like I said, once I read the decision, I dont think she should be able to teach at all. She was doing this while she was in the schools as a teacher. Dont know about in CA, but here that would be ample grounds to take a way her teaching certifications, and I think they should.
I dont think her life should be over because of this, but she needs to find a new profession.

Mom to Arianna (5), Conner (3) and Trent (my baby)
As an aside: Before I had Trent, the daycare provider my kids went to, was a former stripperI didn't even know until another mother felt that she needed to inform me about it. It was years ago, before she had her own kids, so it was surprising to me, but didn't effect my decision to have my kids there. If she had been daycare provider by day, stripper by night I might have had a problem

She should lose her job for lying on the application. She should also change her name, get her college transcripts changed, and look for another job somewhere else, hoping someone will understand her predicament.
Mama to 5 Honey Bunnies
When I first heard about this case, I was on her side, even though she does spell her name like a porn star.I figured if this was something she did once or twice when she was very young, an easy way to pay for college, before being certified, etc. then she has a right to have a past just like everyone else. I don't consider not providing old, irrelevant job history information to an employer to be "lying." Most employers simply need to know that you can do the job, they don't need, and have no right, to know every single little thing you've ever done in your life. Porn is not illegal, and if her students found it, then I say shame on their parents for giving them unsupervised access to the internet.
But now having more information that she did, in fact, participate in porn while student teaching and subbing and especially after accepting & starting a full-time teaching position, and that she did it using pretty much her real name ("Stacy" vs. "Stacie" come on!) and then she lied about it & tried to cover it up when asked directly, ITA that she shouldn't be teaching. Maybe she could go back to being an EMT, they make pretty good money. She could wink at some guy in pain & he'd drift off into unconciousness wondering where he saw that before.![]()

Totally off the debate topic, but I'd suggest taking him to a chiropractor or craniosacral therapist. If the skull & spine are out of adjustment, the ears can't drain properly, especially so in a baby whose ear canals are more level and who spends a lot of time lying down. And if you're still breastfeeding, try squirting some EBM into each ear.

Yeah but it doesn't matter how much surfing freedom you allow your own kid, it matters how much surfing freedom kids in general are allowed in that school population. It doesn't take every kid to discover the videos on line, it only takes one.

And i think about how Tech Savvy kids are these days and how easy it is to access the internet and how not every parent is necessarily supervising or even with their children after school. I'm not at all surprised that the kids found the videos.

I am not surprised they found it either. I was looking for clip art of a light bulb the other night on google images and there was a picture of a naked woman and her vibrator in a very exposed picture. This is the reason our kids only have internet access in a common room, no smart phones, and no computer at friends houses. But even with all the precautions we take I am sure they will see stuff we dont like

When i read that on the transcript i was wondering why she would leave a job like that to become a teacher?
I still think there is more to this. I'm going to venture to say that I think she was doing stripping or escorting before this. I compare it to pot. Everyone says pot is a gateway drug. Stripping is a gate way to the adult industry. I highly doubt the "producer" just messaged her on myspace. This guy sounds like a complete pimp. Alot of people (famous ones too!) started out as strippers before going full head on in to porn. If they were smart they should have checked her fingerprints against the stripper/escort liscience in CA, and yes i know this does exist.
