Casey Anthony juror seeking paid interviews

TMZ is reporting that a publicist is brokering an interview with one of the jurors who acquitted Casey Anthony -- for a price. The juror has multiple offers in the mid-5-figures. Right or wrong? And I promise, this is my last Casey Anthony-related debate...

Legally? Morally?

I'm a capitalist, so you know my answer Smile

Remember, though, it is only people who choose to turn in to watch these interviews or read these books (like those who spent hours watching the trial, in my opinion!) who have themselves to blame that there is a market for this sort of thing. You know that the mother is going to be doing the same thing, right? Selling interviews? Probably a reality show in her future? Book deals? She will be rich, if she hires a good PR firm.

When I think of all of the hours that American's spent glued to that trial I have to wonder ..... how many children might not have died of hunger or abuse or violence in these past few months of gawking and faux moral outrage? Imagine if all those so "touched" by this case had dedicated the same amount of hours to volunteering with an at risk child, or donating their time and money to help still living and at risk kids rather than obsessing over one already dead child.

It is just so freaking bizarre to me, I have to admit it.

It was a total obvious...with the media surrounding the case, I completely expect Casey to sell her story in every avenue possible. So no, doesn't surprise me. And honestly, I am interested to know what the jury was thinking.

I really don't have a problem with it.

If they are putting themselves out there open to public retalitation (verbal and hopefully not otherwise), why not? Isn't really the media outlet willing to pay that is the morally guilty party? They are only searching for ratings and more viewership, therefore equaling more money for them.

I knew right away that they would do something like this, considering they refused to talk to the press right after they aquitted her. They're all willing to talk... for a price.

Not all. The only juror that is actually talking is not being paid.

Which one is that? The only one I've seen wasn't an actual juror, he was a reserved one...
