My presumption based on that is that they get to keep their marriage and the rest of us don't. It is not a philosophical view on the size of government. That isn't what we have been debating.
My reasons for not wanting the government in marriage are not because I hate homosexuals or Atheists.

That is hating gays. You've spelled it out for us numerous times.
Really? Do I hate liars too? I have also made it abundantly clear that it has nothing to do with rights, and everything to do with the definition of marriage. Do I hate unmarried people that live together? Because all those things are in the same verse I quoted. If I said that I murder is a sin does that mean that I hate murderers? If gluttony is a sin does that mean I hate obese people?

Just love how someone is allowed to have a different opinion on this board without being attacked and then piled on.

You don't even need to worry about the unmarried people, they're staying out of marriage already. You are equating murderers to homosexuals in terms of the level of their offense. How is that not a bigotry-driven view? You're hanging on this "definition of marriage" as if it's all that matters. You simply can't see past it to look at the reality of what being gay is and means, you've blocked yourself off to it. So is it pure unadulterated hatred? No. But there is judgment and contempt. You'd do anything to keep marriage away from gay people, you'd throw away marriage! But not yours. Right?

I'm done. If you want to debate the subject go ahead, but I'm done debating whether or not I hate gay people. I have said I don't, that's really all it should take.

In this new utopian world without government marriage, do you get to keep your marriage?

(And no I don't think you hate either group. )

i mean in your non-government marriage world. The one you think would be better. Does it still include marriage for you? And does it give gay people some other not-marriage substitute?

Yes- if you notice the time stamps you will see that I edited it after you edited your post saying you were going to quote everything I say. Simply addressing your edit- no big conspiracy Gloria. Lillie tried this too- remembering her "editing for posterity" kick? I have no reason to be afraid of what I'm saying or to be ashamed by my words. It is completely fine to say that hateful or bigoted thoughts or actions are hateful or bigoted or sinful, period. Just as fine as calling my friends murderers and other names.
