Prehistoric only means before recorded history.

If men and animals were created at the same time how could any animal or man be before recorded history? The Bible records history from the beginning.

--ETA: oops I guess the animals could have prehistoric for one day

It gives on account of how history happened. It was not written as it occurred. Unless you also believe that humans were created with the ability to write...on....something....with something

It doesn't even matter when the Bible was written. Prehistoric means the time before *written* records. Prehistory occurred before the Bible existed. By definition. Just because the bible writes about those times doesn't all of a sudden mean its not a prehistoric time LOL.

You are right we don't know exactly when they started writing it down. But yes I do believe that humans were created with the ability to write on something with something. I believe they were created with the same abilities we have today. They carved some pretty awesome things into stone and painted some pretty pictures that survive even today so I'm not sure why writing would be such a problem.

So would you call the Aztecs prehistoric then? Or did it have to be written in English?

Is that a real question? It doesn't have to be in English but anything that was not written down is considered prehistoric regardless of what culture it is from.

So because they could carve you assume they knew language and would have the knowledge to write it down?

Genesis and the first books of the Bible were written by Moses, but that doesn't mean that there was no recorded history before then. The lineage is written in the Bible from Adam all the way to Jesus, with the names, ages, sons and daughters. Genesis 5 gives an account from Adam through Noah with their ages at death and when their sons were born and some other details. Just because we don't have the evidence today doesn't mean that wasn't written down and passed on for Moses to record.

Yes that is why it is called history. That was their language. Aztecs are not considered prehistoric.
