As gender neutrality is a hot news topic, this news story caught my eye for a bit of a lighter debate:
Are Hollywood awards by gender out of touch?
Thoughts? Should male / female vie for the top awards in each category? What about for the various music awards?
I am okay with it being separate as men tend to dominate movie roles in pretty much any category.
I don't see the difference between this and the BET awards or the Latino movie awards (which I can't remember the name of right now). There is still a disparity. I like Anne Hathaway's quote in the article.
More awards more fun! I love the clothes and the crazy things celebs say in award ceremonies.
