I haven't been very chatty lately have I. So many people were/are dealing with health problem relates stuff. I hope all gets better soon! Bonita, i was glad to hear that your results all came back good.
We've had stomach bug stuff going on here. Lillian had it last Friday, Aodhan had it Monday night. Now i have Cecilia home with me today and there is something wrong with her but i can't decide if its the stomach bug or not. She hasn't barfed but she is complaining a lot about belly pain. It seems different than stomach bug stuff. The pain seems more like a specific acute pain than a general nausea. I'm starting to think it might be something else...like a UTI (which she has had before) and while i know its unlikely, i'm slightly paranoid about appendicitis ever since Aodhan had it. And by slightly, i mean slightly, this is the first time i've even thought of that as a diagnosis since he got it last year. I know thats probably not it, but maybe a bowl obstruction or something?
I have an appointment at 2pm, so i guess we will see.
School play is tomorrow. Lillian has a non speaking part and Aodhan is the stage crew manager. Im hoping no ailments get in the way of seeing the performance!
I hope you family is all well soon and you can go to the performance!
It sounds terrible, but I am actually hoping someone gets a runny nose or something so I have an excuse not to go to a birthday party on Saturday. I would feel terrible though if one of my kids got sick after I typed that out.
I am so glad that my youngest is finally of the age that I can drop her off at parties and not have to stay. Woo!
Real maple syrup, mmmmmm.... And I'm such a maple syrup snob that I only use Grade B.
I hate Caillou, and I don't let Weston watch it when I'm home. DH does because it's an incentive for Weston to get dressed & go potty before the show starts so he's ready to leave on time to get Tiven from school. Weston was whining at me the other day and I told him if he didn't stop it, I was going to tell Papa to not let him watch any more Caillou.
Laurie, have you ever tried making that banana peanut butter muffin with non-hydrogenated peanut butter? With no butter or shortening in them, I wonder if they would lose too much texture and/or fluffiness?
Kim, insist that they take a urine sample and dip it for white blood cells.
I love Skippy Natural with a fierce and loyal love.
That's what I was afraid of. I do use Skippy for my holiday cookies but I hate having to do it. My frugal mentality has a hard time paying $4 for a jar of peanut butter. Especially since I adore the $2 stuff from Trader Joe's that has no trans fats. But Skippy is more fun to lick off a spoon! :p
Kim, it sounds to me like a UTI and possible kidney infection. Keep us posted after the doctor
