I didn't need glassdoor -- I did a ton of research on the company (this one's not a huge corporation though) and spent the morning researching their site and also looking up good interview questions to ask.
I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. I hope they hire me (and we can work out something about working hours) because this is totally my culture. They're passionate about their work, they love what they do, they're casual and wear jeans & t-shirts, they're fun, they're direct and not corporate, but they are successful and want to be more so. Completely the environment I want to work in. I can never tell at these things but I got the sense I might have the right combination of qualities they need. I was there for over two hours although some of it was spent waiting.
We talked about everything from digital strategy to Captain Picard. My kind of people. Fingers crossed! I really really want this one and of course hours are an issue but maybe we can make it work if they want me there, they really want someone who can do the job AND match their culture, it's really important to them.
I'm just not a formal person and these guys are focused but informal. I met with the Creative Director and the President and thought they were both great. Woo!
I'm a bit late to the party!
I only get on here at work (shhhhh) so I miss out on all the live fun lol.
I go on holiday in 5 days, excited much!

I luurrrrrve to lurk!
Just bought my first britax! I am so excited! Wanna see a picture? J/k
DH had totally talked me down to a less expensive seat and then I started looking at the size of the actual seat. Holy moley there are some big seats out there now. I measured the ones I already have for the big kids and they are nowhere near the size of the one I almost bought. Glad I noticed before I ordered it. So it was down to a britax marathon or a radian. The radian does not look comfy for a baby, so the britax it is. Yay!
Mom to Arianna (5), Conner (3) and Trent (my baby)
Kim -- you are going to love the Star Trek movie. Do yourself a favor and do NOT read any reviews or anything about it. Not knowing one of the major plot points made it even better. I'm so glad I didn't read the details.
I love how they truly love and revere the original but make it completely fresh and new and put a different spin on it. It's like the ultimate nerd gift.
