Once that one came out we could feel how loose the other one was, so I popped that one out too. My Rocco is 7 1/2 and all he has lost are the bottom two. They didn't even come out until after he turned 7. He did say that one of his top ones is starting to feel a little loose.

My son is almost 6.5 and doesn't have any loose teeth. The dentist said since he was a late teether he will probably lose late as well.

I don't have time to catch up on everything I missed here, but YES, they are super comfortable (unless you have wide feet)

The patterns and other fabrics out now are quite pretty and feminine and would look darling paired with a hospital gown and IV pole.I like this about the company, mostly: One For One Movement - A Pair Of New Shoes Is Given To A Child In Need With Every Pair Purchased - TOMS.ca
She hit it on the head...they run about 1/2 size long, and they feel snug when you first get them but will stretch if your feet are regular width or a little wide. With narrow feet they will probably feel nice from the beginning. And I think they look great with skirts! Depending on the fabric/pattern, they can look very casual or a little nice-ish Try some! Sometimes they have them on Zulilly for $20.

I am with you on the Crocs. I won't even buy them for my kids I would rather buy water shoes than those.

I saw these on Payless and they look really comfy I think I am going to go by Payless this weekend and see if they have any in the store.

Just brought Emma and her friend home from the dance... Lots of sobby tween crying over friends who are leaving the school. Everyone's eyes were all puffy and red as we exited the building.

I have not prepped myself for the "comfort your emotionally distraught almost 12 year old and her friend" thing yet.

Oi I have a lot to learn

Coby has 4 loose teeth at the moment. He's lost the two bottom ones about 6 mos ago and it feels like all of these next 4 will go at once. Loose teeth are so weird and great at the same time. I kinda remember how it felt when I was a kid. A good and bad not too ouchie yet still ouchie feeling. Puts him in an odd mood.

But the funny thing that happened to me today. . .

I have not shopped at Walmart for over 15 years, but Coby got a gift card for his b-day and he needed a little pick me up. So we went. And I told them that I just felt really overwhelmed in there and I didn't really like the quality, etc. So this would be their 1st and last time to go.

And it was strange. The staff was all really nice and friendly but the kids picked up on my vibe and told me that they didn't like it either. lol

But we bought a r/c Hexbug toy with his gift card and beat feet.

Of course, it is not functioning properly. sigh

So, I gather the box and receipt and call the store to find out what their hours are.

Let me say that again. . . I actually called the store to ask what the hours are. The lady who answered kind of laughed.

    oh well.

And of course, when you break your own rules and you go to that place that you say that you don't go to, you know what happens? You see someone you know. Admittedly, just someone who is an acquaintance, but can't a girl catch a break!?!

Is it bad I totally can't remember how old my boys were when they lost teeth?

Kim, I have a hard enough time comforting my 14 yr old. His gf (which really meant they ate lunch together and hung out at the mall) broke up with him, and it was tough trying to figure out what to say to him.

So....I SLAVED over the egg casserole - okay...spent about 20 minutes putting it together, and then stuck it in the oven before I left for work this morning - and Matt didn't even try it! He said he "forgot"...

Today was the end of the fiscal year for our company, and I needed about $18,000 to hit my $1.99 mil goal. Luckily I had an order emailed to me last night for $133,000 so I made it!! Then I stayed late to help some colleagues out by entering orders for them, and this is the text I got from my boss this evening: "I am just sitting down having some wine and I thought of u and how awesome you were to help others get to goal today. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Have an awesome weekend!"

I totally don't mind helping out. It's just nice to have it acknowledged .
