Cool, 'cause they're $150 on the site.

But alas, I do not shop. I have no time, I have to online shop for almost everything.

I hate to shop too. I was only there because I needed a suit for thursday and some practical pumps (no hooker high heels for the interview ). It was good timing though with their sale. I went from seeing this all as a fun adventure to being a little terrified. I have a 30 minute phone interview tomorrow and I just got my interview schedule for Thursday ~ 4 straight hours with 4 different people. I'm afraid I may forget how to talk about things other than diapers and why parenting labels are stupid. I have a lot of studying to do tonight.

When DH was just starting his job, we were still living in a hotel and he went in for a few hours overtime. I knew he was leading a team to a grow op (apparently he was the only one who could use the GPS), and he told me he would only be a few hours. Well, about 8 hours later, his trainer finally calls me to tell me that he is fine and will be home soon. Picture me, newly a cops wife, in a tiny hotel room, with a 3 month old....FREAKING OUT, with no idea who to call or what to do. He ended up having to sit on a house out of town for awhile and they didnt have cell service. He finally asked someone else to call me. Now I know who to call and what to do in that sort of situation, which happens more than it should, but holy I was scared.....and very, very mad!

Well, I just had one of the most f-ed up days I've had in a very long time. Not just stressful from all the regular daily stuff, but also everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Someone who was supposed to get me stuff is out today. I finally got some of the stuff I need but not in hard copy. When I went to print it, every single one of our printers was down because they are installing a new printer and had to take all the printers offline while programing the new one. I went to grab a snack and didn't notice they didn't put the lid on correctly so half my iced tea spilled. On me. And then the people who can't make up their damned minds. Seriously, it's not that hard. Eeny-meeny-miney-mo works nicely if you really have no clue. Just pick one so I can move on with my life, please. Grrrr....

My day didn't get any better at home. I'd picked up Darla's ashes from the vet today, which somehow triggered a discussion with Weston about when and when not to call 911, which in turn somehow triggered a discussion with Tiven about the San Bruno gas pipeline explosion, which killed a friend of mine and her daughter.

I hope today has been better!

I woke up feeling like crap this morning. My throat started to feel itchy last night, and by this morning it was awful. Not strep throat bad, but horrible allergies bad. And I must have done something to tailbone/hip area yesterday, because I can't move without pain today. I ran a few miles yesterday, but it wasn't a hard run and I felt fine all day. It just cropped up. It's actually worse after sitting, so that make work a joy today

I had a much better day today. Now I have to figure out how to be in two places at the same time tomorrow. At least neither of them requires me being in the office!

So glad you had a better day!

So yeah, I leave tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. on a flight to North Carolina. Have I started packing yet??? Nope! But I do have a pretty mani/pedi now .
