I would! I've seriously thought about becoming a professional organizer. They are fairly abundant in our area and do well ~ I literally enjoy it obscenely. I'm all about jobs which offer instant gratification, and organizing is all about that. I'd give you a massive discount, especially if you work out some gluten free baking options
I could definitely use an organizer. Really, my issue is that I procrastinate .
We just got back home from a very quick trip out by dh's family for his cousin's wedding. Nathan was the ring bearer, and looked oh-so-handsome in his tux. Today we had a cookout at the park right by dh's grandpa's house, and had a blast eating, playing basketball wiffle ball, and just enjoying the time together. Unfortunately dh had to work tonight, so we had to fly back home. Most of his family is coming down this week, so we'll see them again Tuesday night for dinner at Lou Malnati's (yummy pizza) and then again on the 4th.

Melis, my house could use a fresh coat of paint, plus my basement needs a major toy purge and I need to organize a yard sale. Are you available next week? I'll fly you up. Oy, it is hot today. 29 degrees. Filling the pool as we speak. With the flood our beaches aren't open so I guess we're limited to the yard. Happy Canada Day, my canuck friends!!!
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!!!!! Really, shouldn't I get today off in honor of my country? Just because I moved to America....
Happy Canada Day!
Does anyone have any awesome zucchini recipes they want to share? My neighbor just gave me a bunch and I have more growing in my garden. I like zucchini bread, but I confess just baked it is not my favorite. Today I made lasagna substituting the noodles with strips of zucchini. DH really liked it as did Alyssa and Caitlyn. To me it was OK, but not something I would eat a ton of. I am excited about eating from my garden, but confess to not loving some vegetables. In other garden news, with our lasagna I had a salad completely from my garden. The lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and green onions were all fresh from the garden. I also put a pepper and green onion from my garden into the lasagna. I have 5 butternut squash growing that I think I will be able to do a lot more with.
Bonita, I make zucchini fries that my kids LOVE. I cut them into spears and then put pray with olive oil and roll them in Parmesan cheese and garlic. Then I bake them at 325

I have an amazing chocolate cake recipe using zucchini. It's called Secretly Healthy Chocolate Cake, I've made cake and cupcakes and they're delicious and I absolutely despise zucchini. The recipe calls for a lot of it too. Let me know if you're interested & I'll send!
I made it for a class full of kids for a Read It All Up event we were doing and they loved them.
Are you growing tomatoes? There's a great recipe in the back of the kids' book Thunder Cake for an incredible chocolate cake with tomatoes in it.
