Ugh....So....freaking...hot... I...am...melting. It's 41 with the humidex. What's that in Farenheit? IDK. Freaking hot. We are not used to such high temps with humidity. It is usually very dry here on dem prairies.

I just spent the last 3 hours (With a few breaks) working on writing out lesson plans for next year. I think my hands will be numb tmw (hence the handwriting question). I like to do my lesson plans one semester at a time so it is not so much during the school year, but it can be overwhelming while going through it.

I just had a septoplasty on Monday and not being able to blow my nose or taste anything when I eat is a.n.n.o.y.i.n.g!

Thanks, it's actually a lot less painful than I expected.

My dad had a surgery last year to have his nose and throat opened up. He was in an incredible amount of pain for several weeks. I am glad it was not that bad for you!

Is that to fix a deviated septum? I have that, but it's only occasionally annoying like when I have a head cold. I think mine happened when I broke my nose at 17. Glad to hear you're not in too much pain!

Speaking of noses and stuff, do you guys have a DH who snores terribly? Mine does. O...M...G...He is so freaking loud. A doctor said that he should just buy me earplugs since there was nothing they could do for him - that the surgery to fix it is only for overweight people who snore. He can't wear a splint for it because he already wears a night guard for his grinding. I wish there was something permanent they could do for him. But, seeing as he just got snipped I doubt he'd be up for another procedure.

Aside from that, I have a question for you guys. I need your opinions. Now that I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia do you think I should tell HR? There have been days I've missed work because of the pain or the IBS but I've never said "I just hurt so I won't be in" or "My IBS has flared up". I've always come up with other more valid excuses, KWIM? It's hard to make people understand how bad the pain gets some days. Maybe I should let someone know?

This is a nightmare for me. It's the ONE problem I have with my husband, seriously. I simply don't ever get a good night's sleep anymore. He's so loud, it's constant, and it will wake me up in the middle of the night or wake me up half an hour before I have to get up, or make it impossible for me to fall asleep. It's awful. And he simply doesn't get how awful it is. Years ago he asked a GP about it who said "yeah, lots of people snore" and that was his effort in terms of dealing with it. I used to use earplugs but once the kids came along I don't feel right about it. I really need to have a serious sit-down with him and spell out that it's his marital obligation to go pursue a solution. It is a massive problem for me. Any commercial with someone snoring in it an actually bring me to tears. Plus I'm freaked out about the health implications as I'm sure he has apnea.
