We have a full yard, actually. But I hate gardening. I'm bad with plants and I don't enjoy it. I'm not even really an outdoorsy person. I like eating, though!

Can you go to a local farmers market?

We used to have one down the street but not anymore. I can....I didn't mean to imply that fresh produce is unavailable. I just admire those who garden and wish I had a gardening friend to bring me their bounty.

Aww, maybe one of your friends will plant one soon.

Let's hope. I am getting some local honey from my old boss who now runs a cheese shop in Brooklyn.

    It's a start!

I just bought some honey at the farmer's market today. This one had blueberry pollen in it. It's so good!

If I could choose who to fall in love with and who would fall in love with me, all over again, I would choose the owner of a cheese shop in Brooklyn.

My boss is the cheese expert and her husband is the beer guy. They love their shop! Funny that she used to be a VP at various tv networks. She is a lot happier now!

Today is our last day in Fire Island. The sun is out, the kids slept in (!!!!!!), my hurty legs have recovered, and last night Dave and I sat out on my dad's back deck and watched fireworks going off on the mainland. Beautiful! The kids have been swimming and hiking and we all sat around playing Bird Bingo yesterday. Peace and happiness. I even had a big gentle talk with Dave about snoring yesterday and he promised to pursue help. A great weekend!

I got up early to go the grocery store by myself. Now to make feta dip and get ready for my niece's birthday party. The cool weather we had is going away and back into the 3rd heat wave for the year so far. Between the heat and rain I feel like I've moved to a rainforest.

I hope I don't eat any of the dip before going there. It's addicting!
