Good luck with that Lisa! I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so that would be hard for me.
Carolyn - That is awesome that you have met up with so many amazing supportive people. I need to join a community like that!!!
Stacey - Thanks for the good info! DH wants to start composing once we get in our new house, so I will have to remember that this is here! I hope that Weston is feeling better by now!
Bonita - Sorry that you are going to be gone for a couple of days! You will be missed.
Laurie - ((((hugs))))) I miss your sterling contributions to the debates, but I totally understand, and hope that you are doing okay.
As for me, we are FINALLY closing on our new house on Friday and moving on Saturday. It has been such a long stressful time in coming, so I am soooo grateful that we're almost there. Then we get our exchange student sometime next week.
Alissa, yay on the closing!! Will you share pics at some time?

I am home after a week in the Outer Banks, NC. It was a trip that had been planned for about a year. SIL got married on Friday and Caitlyn was a beautiful flower girl. The first day we were there I was very sick and we were looking into Out of State emergency rooms. (Peeing blood, very high BP even when lying down) Thankfully I was able to get on another antibiotic and a new BP medicine without having to see a doctor in NC, my doctor just phoned the RX into a place there. After I got on a new antibiotic I started to get better almost immediately and I was able to enjoy the rest of the week. Unfortunately I missed the best weather of the week. I did get some really nice beach pictures though. I am glad to be home and will enjoy sleeping in my own bed tonight. I will have pre-op testing on Monday to make sure all of the infection is gone (If not they will put me on IV antibiotics. Stubborn infection ), then if all is well I will have surgery to remove the stone and stent and put in a new stent on Wednesday.
I had surgery this afternoon to remove the stone and change out the stent. They still did the surgery even though I still have the infection. I think they are thinking the infection will not go away with the stone still in there. They removed the stone whole (Did not break it up first). My throat is very sore from the tube. I just took some pain medicine that will make me out of it so I apologise in advance if I make no sense at all.
Hope you feel better soon, Bonita!
We had a fantastic time in Florida over the long weekend, we were there with my dad & his husband (celebrating their 40th anniversary) and my brothers & their kids and my younger sister. This weekend we'll be in Toronto with everyone including my older sister, who's flying in from Bangkok. Another anniversary party, but 40 years is definitely worth celebrating! (I prefer a quiet anniversary with just my husband, but maybe I'll want something splashier one day...although I doubt it.)
This is my first real week off work and I'm making the most of it. I'm job hunting daily, and emailing people I know, but I'm also going to yoga every day, baking, practicing photography, walking the kids to school in the morning, and taking naps when I want! Quite the novelty.
I'm also playing too much Candy Crush, please send help.
I'm going to bake some pumpkin bread now.
