I'm glad she's getting better, Bonita.
I haven't been able to get onto the board for days, it kept redirecting me to a post in some other thread and wouldn't let me on here, whether I used a direct link or went through the list of forums.
That is interesting. I had wondered why we went so long without a post. I checked in several times but there was just never anything new to commit on.
I posted this as an announcement but I'm not certain if you spotted it yet (or even could.) Recently the site changed our hosting and once they switched the DNS it seemed this issue started showing up for members at various times. This solution has worked for most of our hosts / members impacted that have contacted me: Please try clearing your cached files / cookies (temp files) and then go back to our homepage at Pregnancy.org, log in and then navigate back to the boards. My best guess is that during the transition that a cookie / file became corrupt and created the glitch you described. I'm really sorry for the frustration (as well as the impact that it has had on your group!) Hopefully that will work for you. If not, please drop me a note at email@example.com and I'll see if I can find another solution.
If you know of others that may be experiencing the same, please let them know to try the steps above.
What's everyone up to?
I'm working today, but I haven't worked since last Thursday and have had a great week off! Technically, last Friday i took as a sick day. Kids had a snow day and I had a horrible cold, there was no way i was going to be working.
We didn't do anything exciting over winter break. I caught up on a lot of house cleaning. I took some awesome maternity photos of my beautiful sister in law who is due at the beginning of March. The kids and I played a lot of Dominion....such a fun game. So fun that i went out and bought an expansion pack a couple of days ago! Oh and we built a HUGE snowman yesterday. My muscles hurt!
So glad i am only working today and then its the weekend!
The kids were off school this week, so I've been ferrying them around a bit. Juliet went to yoga camp in the mornings down the street and Nathaniel did a 3-day (2-hours at a time) cooking class. And I've been working on that chef site, my first written piece is up!

I took most of the pictures too.
Dave & I finally (FINALLY!) found a local (and affordable) teen who can babysit at night, so tonight is our first real date night in forever. It was our first date anniversary earlier in the week (16 years!) so tonight we're heading into NYC to one of our favorite restaurants from when we lived there.
Took the kids to the Lego movie this week too. Fun! We saw Frozen as well.
I sold my first cake today. It was a horse cake. I charged $15 for the horse cake and $10 for an extra 24 cupcakes. I was very excited. I also made a facebook page of some of the cakes I made. I am not sure if it will take off or not, but I will never know if I do not try.
OMG, is that a Candyland game cake? How cool!!!
70% of the U.S. population now lives in a state where same-sex marriage is legal. At 36 and counting!
That's great, Bonita! Congratulations. I like the Candyland cake too.
Good for you for giving it a shot. I feel like 2014 is a big year for people who want to pursue their passions.
