Anyone else having trouble reading Gloria's "Free Justina" post? It keeps linking me to "September Chat"
Mom to Elizabeth (6) and Corinne (4)
So out of the blue yesterday I noticed that Alyssa has little boobies. I was very surprised. (She will be 9 in May). I was expecting to have another year at least. I Googled it and it seems to be a normal age, but somehow I was caught off guard. She is very tall and slender, so I was expecting her to be later although my mother says I was younger than her when I got them.
Thanks for listening to me ramble, I am slightly in shock.

Tiven (she's 9.5) had a couple of big puberty lessons at school a couple of months ago so she's been eagerly waiting & watching for breast buds and underarm hair. She noticed a bit of both last week so I took her over the weekend to get "bras," which were just little half-camisole things but she's so delighted that her pituitary gland is functioning normally. Now Weston (age 4.5) wants a bra, too, and I can't tell you how many times a day tells me he's not going to be little for much longer because his "tutory gland is getting geared up for exciting things!" LOL!
David Letterman is retiring. Such great memories of watching him over the past thirty-two years!
Anyone else still having occasional issues with the boards? I've been able to get back, but I periodically get redirected to some random topic on another board instead of to the page I'm trying to go to. It's odd. It happens when I try to go the last page of the silent lunch thread.

Congratulations, Kim! That's awesome!
I have had a really good week. Some stuff is still on the horizon so I don't know if it's happening yet, but I got hired to write a couple of articles that are both about things I love. And I interviewed some pastry chefs last week for the site I'm consulting on, which is lots of fun.
Tomorrow I am heading to Philly with my dad & his husband, we're going to see Paul Simon & Sting. Woohoo! They're in NY today I think but my Dad couldn't make it to that one, he's flying back from Florida today.
I love my 71 year-old jetsetting Dad who takes me to concerts in other cities. I'm very lucky.
